More of Our Decision Designs Story: Part 2

Heather’s side of “Our Story”

In an earlier installment, my husband, Michael shared how God has been writing the Decision Designs story. We thought you’d like to hear from the other half of this small, family-owned Christian business too! My side continues with a bit more of the story:

“Michael was watching Shark Tank one evening and the creator of a t-shirt brand was pitching his idea. This got Michael’s wheels turning. “Why aren’t there more Christian apparel brands out there? People will spend a lot of money to represent their favorite sports team, favorite college, favorite musical group, but what about representing God?” Michael ‘pitched’ his idea to me while I was still half asleep and I agreed that it was a great idea! And now, here we are…

God has provided so much!
We had no clue where this idea would go and where God would take us. In fact, we almost gave up after several months. But God had a plan. It started small—we went to local festivals and events— anywhere we could set up a tent, display our t-shirts, and talk to people about Jesus. And we loved it! This was an act of service, a ministry, quality time with each other, and a way to meet some new and amazing people along the way. God’s plan was so much bigger than we could ever have dreamed – and it just keeps growing!

Spreading God’s Word.
Decision Designs is a way for our family to glorify God and Jesus Christ. We want to spread God’s word one T-shirt, hoodie, or hat at a time. It’s more important than ever for Christians to shine in an increasingly dark world. Decision Designs wants to point toward the Light and you become part of that when you lend a hand by wearing and sharing our designs. We appreciate each and every one of you!

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews 12:2.  We have no need to anxiously distrust him and fear what is written in our chapters ahead. We can rely on his faithfulness as a Shepherd to guide us to the end. We can depend on him. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28.

God continues to write our story… every day.
